This place is amazing. First time here and will definitely come back. Best chicken fried rice I’ve ever had and the sushi is delicious.

I got the spicy pork bento box (my husband got the sushi bento box) and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The service was very attentive too. Next time we are in the area, we will have to try many of the rolls, all of which looked good.

Okay, I haven’t had their Sushi yet, so perhaps I should wait on this review, but i’ll edit it when I go back. I told our server I wanted a lunch special of several rolls unless she could convince me to get the October special, which was a Bibimbap dish in a hot bowl. She succeeded . Didn’t regret it one bit, though I can never quite shake my menu FOMO, hence the picture of my friend’s plate . Anyway, along with the delicious bowl, soup, and fried dumplings was a great atmosphere with a fun and pleasant server experience. Thanks guys!

This place was great! I was going nonstop for days at a conference. I was left with a moment in time and place alone for the first time around dinner time. I Google searched for Sushi as I'm from a rural area. I walked in, was promptly greeted and sat. Outside is bustling and a huge conference center across the street, but inside- inside is a respite from it all. Just the mental break I needed. Now onto the meal- they served a gargantuan sized bento box, tea, and soup. I walked out of there realizing how happy my tummy was and as I walked 2 more feet I realized how calm my mind was. Come here for the fulfilled mind body and spirit.

I often come here for lunch as I work nearby. The staff are always super friendly and the food is fabulous. They often will even remember what my regular orders are. They have the best Salmon for their sushi! I’ll also come here for dinner on occasion and am never disappointed. The atmosphere is a great blend of Japanese and Grand Rapids culture. If you are near the Grand Rapids downtown area I highly recommend stopping in for the scrumptious food!

Very good spot to stop for lunch or dinner. Was in town for a conference and dropped in for dinner one night and lunch a few days later. Excellent, attentive service, very tasty food. I had a spicy tuna roll and the bulgogi box. Best ginger dressing I’ve ever had on the salad. Excellent bulgogi. You really can’t go wrong here.

I recently dined at ATO Sushi and Japanese Cuisine, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the variety of options on the menu made it hard to choose! I also tried some of their traditional Japanese dishes, and they did not disappoint. The atmosphere was the perfect blend of cozy and elegant, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The ambiance really enhances the overall dining experience. I highly recommend ATO Sushi and Japanese Cuisine to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a welcoming environment. I can’t wait to return for another delicious feast!

Small space but wonderful food and service. The employees are genuinely kind. My daughter loves sushi and says the sushi here is the best in town! We highly recommend!
